in this 9 days (Pratipada, Dwitiya, Tritiya, Chaturthi, Pnachami, Shasti, Saptami, Astami and Navami, [& Dashmi (i.e., known as a Vijaya Dashmi )])

Maa Devi wear Nine different color’s saree.

You will find many web sites and blogs has wrong information and confustion about the color for Nine days of navratri. i had found this information in leading newspaper and i would like to publish here for all of you.

The Nine colors for 2013 are as follow:
• Navratri Day 1 – October 5, 2013 – Pratipada – Grey
• Navratri Day 2 – October 6, 2013 – Dwitiya – Orange
• Navratri Day 3 – October 7, 2013 – Tritiya – White
• Navratri Day 4 – October 8, 2013 – Chaturthi – Red
• Navratri Day 5 – October 9, 2013 – Panchami -Blue
• Navratri Day 6 – October 10, 2013 – Sashti – Yellow
• Navratri Day 7 – October 11, 2013 – Saptami – Green
• Navratri Day 8 – October 12, 2013 – Ashtami – Peacock Green
• Navratri Day 9 – October 13, 2013 – Navami and (Vijaya)-dasami – Purple
