Hello guys,

i am feeling to enjoy this romantic atmosphere of monsson. and hopeyou also feel the same thing in your mind.

When was the last time you enjoyed rains?
not remembering….? here is the moment to enjoy the rain.

its the time to go out and enjoy nature with fun

I am writng few places which will help to all Mumbaikars to enjoy rain with nature.

Palasdari
About: Palasdari is around 2.5 hours (approx. 90 kms) journey from Mumbai on the Mumbai-Pune Old highway.
A small sleepy village known for its waterfall’s. You will find end number if waterfalls.
Palasdari is prime destination for Monsoon getaways.

Where to enjoy:
waterfalls and waterfalls only

Dont forget:
to pack your breakfast-lunch with you, its very difficult to find place to eat because (of too crowded on sundays) thousand of people are visiting Palasdari and have less places to eat. its beeter to carry our own.

Kori Gad (Fort) – Treking spot like Matheran

About:
Kori gad has a flat and small top, its a one day (easy) trek for the professional trekkers

A thick forestation at the base, enough potable water from the lake on the top and from the cistern situated half way and easy climb attracts many enthusiasts to this fort.

Where to enjoy:
on fort, Karla devi Temple, Caves (need to buy ticket for entry)

Dont forget:
to watch wonderful view of the small bungalows of Amby Valley, Tung fort is a pleasent sight to watch from the top.

Malshej Ghat
About: Malshej ghat is situated in Pune district near the borders of Thane and Ahmednagar districts. The distance is 154 km from south Mumbai towards northeast. The nearest railway station is Kalyan. you will find many waterfalls near vallys and winding roads.

Where to enjoy:
Waterfalls, Harishchandragad for Treking (7km from Malshej)

Dont forget:
to watch European flamingoes arrive during the monsoon Pimpalgaon-Joga Dam. apart from flamingoes bird lovers can find many birds in Malshej, its worth watching to birds.

Lonavala – Khandala Ghat
About:
One of the most favorite monsoon picnic spot for Mumbai’/Pune’kars. From Mumbai to Lonavala distance is 128 km by railway (2.5hours from Mumbai) and 92 km by road.

Kumar Resorts
Nagpani, Rajmachi Point,
Duke’s Nose, Kune Point,
Khandala Dari,
Rye-wood Park,
Tiger’s Point,
Tungaarli Lake,

Ghambirnath Caves,
Bhusir Lake,
Ambey Vally (Sahar guesthouse)
And Karla (Ekveera devi temple)

to buy some Maganlal Chikki and chocolate fudge

About: Khopoli is connected to the Mumbai suburban railway from Karjat. The distance between CST to Khopoli is 114 km

Duke’s Nose,

Ashtavinayaka temples of Shri Varad Vinayak at Madh (7 kms)
